Match-A-palooza
July 10 & 11

Welcome to Match-A-Palooza 2026!  The goal - lots of matches, getting to play with some new partners, and hopefully lots of fun.  Here is how it will work.

Entry Fees:  $10 if you can play most the event (Friday and Saturday).  $5 if you are only available a little but still want to play at least once.

1)  By Wednesday (sooner would be better), contact Todd via ParentSquare and let him know what times you are free on Friday (between 4pm and 9pm) and Saturday between 9 and 5pm.
2)  Get your "team assignments" and match times on this page on Thursday, then show up and play at those times.
3)  Teams and matches will be a mix of:
Option 1)  Two-person teams.  A match will consist of:
One set of doubles against another team, and
Each of you playing one set of singles against someone from the other team.
Option 2)  Four-person teams.  A match will consist of:
Two doubles matches and 4 singles matches (everyone plays both singles and doubles).

If you are available for most of time windows, we'll try to get you into 3 team matches (a total of 3 sets of singles and 3 sets of doubles).

Teams will probably only exist for about 90 minutes.  Your next match will be as a part of a new team.  Teams and matches will be determined by coaches.  If we have enough coaches on hand, we may even assign coaches to your teams for in-match advice.  You should expect variety - your 4-person team could be a mix of anyone across the program, but we will strive for good competition on each court.

Prizes?  It seems like there should be some prizes.  I'll work on that.  If there are any, they will based on your team's results, not just your own.  And some prizes will be set aside for people who for just being good teammates.
