The Sherwood Summer Series is back for 2026!  We are expecting a prize pool of up to $500 this summer.  Prizes are awarded as a raffle based on points accumulated May 26 through August 17th.  Points are awarded as:
    2 points for practice (with the coaches, at somewhere like GF, or out on your own)
    2 points for every match played (must be at least a pro-set to 8)
    1 point for every match won
    1 point for every new/different person you've played a match with/against

So, let's say 4 people go play a doubles match to start the summer.  The winners will both get 6 points (2 for playing, 1 for winning, 3 for the other 3 people you played with or against).  The losers will get 5 points (no point for winning).  If the same people go play the next day, the winners will get 3, losers will get 2.  No bonus points for players because they are not new/different.

If you attend a practice or play a match where Todd is present, you don't need to let him know.  But if you play on your own, email Todd @ sherwoodtennistodd@gmail.com to let him know that you need points.

Points will be updated at least 2 times most weeks.  Maybe not every day like last summer.

For prizes, not everyone will get a prize (in order to make the top prizes bigger), but there will be quite a few (like 15-20).  It will also not be a true straight up raffle.  The top few people with the most points will be guaranteed a prize of "average" value or better.  People with under 15 points will be eligible for prizes, but not the very best couple.
